COLLEGE ESSAY COACHING

Are you the parent of a senior in high school who is staring down the common app essay prompts? Me too! Put your feet up while I help your young adult brainstorm, draft and finesse a statement that will highlight their strengths, make their personal experience come alive on the page, and elicit a connection between writer and reader.

Sessions are 45-minutes and available in person in Minneapolis or on Zoom.

Common App assistance and supplemental essay coaching is also available.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Rena Kraut

I am a Longfellow, Minneapolis-based musician, writer and teacher. I have spent 20+ years working with young people as a private instructor, summer camp director and cultural exchange trip leader. My educational background is in creative non-fiction writing and music performance and (BA/BM, Northwestern University; MM, Rice University; DMA, University of Minnesota).
